Fair Pay
No one should pay to work, and we will campaign for yoga teachers to be paid for the hours we work and not just the hours we teach. We have a vision for our industry where decent pay and conditions are the norm. We will work to:
Campaign for our pay to reflect the true extent of our labour. This includes the hours we spend preparing, supporting studios with communications, and our students with care and advice outside of studio classes.
Working with yoga teachers to campaign in our workplaces for basic benefits, such as sick pay and holiday pay, across a diverse range of employment settings.
Through our legal clinics and campaigns, we will work towards a norm where contracts outline the work we do and the pay we can expect from it.
